It took 16 years to make clear what happened 16 years ago.There are still many confussion, many people behind the scene are unknown, but a good thing is that the army turn to protect the people after the first days, else would have been a massacre for civilians.

I belive that you prize something you fight for. In our case, the FREEDOM. Or, at least a part of it.......

Today are 16 years since the romanian Revolution. So many things happend then, so many afterwards, but for me is an important turnover of my life: with it I wouldn't have met wonderfull people in my life. without the sacrifice of the young people of that time, the students the intelectuals, the workers, I could not enjoy the freedom I have now. The events from then are still alive in my mind, even if I were just 9 years old then, in Medias, but scare, not seeing my father for almot 7 days, he stayed at his work, ensuring the secrity of his working building.Fortunatly, in my city the army was confined in the baracks after just one day out, weren't any shootings, except some from the Securitate HQ and the military airport.
In the last days I came over some picture from then, mainly bucharest, Timisoara, and browse them. I decided to make a small picture album about those days.

22nd December 1989, Republic's Plaza. Ceausescu flees with helicopter from the besiged Party Central Comitee HQ.

Bucharest, Magheru Boulevard, 22nd Dec 1989. Special Police tries to stop the people, but they cannot, so they dissengage. The army fraternise with the protesters. Since then the chant:"The Army is with us!" heared in all cities.

Down here are some pictures also. I just remembered the book of Black Elk, "The great vision", about the what he was saying in that book, about his people, the Oglala tribe, of the Sioux Nation. If there is something I more then go in north africa and middle east, is a north america, but to meet the natives there. ....

New entry:
i find some pictures ( old and new, 1970-2004 ) from one of the symbol bands of folk-rock in Romania, both during comunist regime and after. I was at their concert in Sibiu this autumn, and it was great.

Their are regarded as a true band, music compasition, lyrics, solo. They are also the strongest symbol of freedom and protest against comunist regime, using hiding lyrics, because in public people were prohited to criticese the regime ( if they do, they were getting jail, their family suffering also by being fired from their jobs, ), that in the end make them to flee to western Europe, and when came back, they were receved with open arms and joy!

Phoenix is back!

Their concert are all the time overcrowded, older people, youger people, everyone that knows and wants to learn the old time, sing about new, better times.....
The people mostly knows their song's lyrics, so they sing rogether with the band! It's a great feeling.

So, in the last days I sow a very nice movie, The Fifth Element. I've seen him 3 time, and I like it, is one of the movies that I really like. The whole idea, the actors ( Ian Holm - Baggins of the Shire, Gary Oldman, Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich etc ) play is good. A movie that is a master piece. Not perfect, but....here are some pictures: Leeloo ( the fifth element ), Diva,

Leeloo ( The Perfect Being - The 5th Element ) escaping from the police on the edge of a futuristic New York

Bruce, with an image as we all know: weapons, teared shirt, brused, makes an good performance in this movie

Gary Oldman, perfect for the "evil" guy role of this movie. But why is he speaking with a combination of american redneck/english accent? Don't know, but greatly compleats the charecter image.

Milla and Ian Holm, looking for the location of the 4 dotnes, representing the other Elements. Great performance from Ian Holm, better then the one of the Lord of the Rings...

Impresive performance of Diva, worth listening........

I was impresioned about this movie, if you have the occasion to see it, see it, you won't regret it.

Ha, I just joined some gothic blogring! Some people there have nothing else better to do then "to be gothic"!

Fuck! being gothic or punk or rocker doesn't mean to have suicide thoughts, or have black make-up, or black clouths! I'm anarchyst or something like that, but is not my label! It's just me. Anyway,

Well, my lastest important decision was to cut the deal at my job yesterday, because I started to feel realy bad about what I was not able to do at work due to low suport, mainly technical, and this afected my performance and the money I was receving. Yesterday I talked with my boss and we both agree that the best is to cut, at least until march, him being unable to draw my road map in the company, and provide the hardware.

So, now I have a new beginning ahead.

I do not feel bad at all, actualy I feel good.

Last week-end I was with Falk (the german trainee) at Cluj to c the city and to have a chinese dinner. There we met with Elaine, and we visited the city together. was fun and great time spent together. Falk was especialy impresed by the hitch-hicking experience, especialy because the driver that took us make 170km in 2 hours and 15 min.... he he ...., but this was compasated by the fact that going back we get a truck loaded with 33 tons of korn, so when was about to get up-hill, the max speed was about 20km/hour....he ... in hitch-hiking you learn to be patient and very optimistic, plus you learn to read the people, the drivers actualy....

In rest, i'm enjoying the cold weather, my rock and punk music, the going out with my friends at a beer or at a worm wine. The waterpipe (shisha) realy is a pleasent time for me, but the price makes it a once at 2 weeks trip. :D

I begin to reconsider a returning to AIESEC activity, not sure in wich way, but I really need the experience that the organisation is providing, the oportnunities to change and develop other people. we'll c....

The winter is comming!

So,

This week is the first time the winter is sending a clear sign that is arriving. two days with 0-3 degrees. My nose and face got frozen, but I felt also good: soon the snow will come (in 4-6 weeks), covering evering in white. The time of the hot wine and hot tzuica is comming! All of you are invited to get warm and listen some good stories!

Today was my first time on sales at Wittmann. was great, I started to work on an offer for the possible client. Moday I have to deliver it.
